2012
Large scale sculpture of 15 fibreglassed bed pillows with gelcoat finish presented in bedlike or alternate formations.
This piece talks about the space in between, or the thoughts that rampage unrestrained through our racing minds and are given power to construct our wakeful realities. Though our pillow is where we lay our weary heads and this sacred and personal space is idealized as a place of rest and reflection, things in the space between the conscious and unconscious are not always so soft and fluffy and restful.
